The Office of Clinical Research operations is critical to the sustainability and growth of the clinical research enterprise at the George Washington University. The operations team provides administrative and management support for investigators, research administrators and research staff by providing tools, training and resources to ensure compliance with applicable human subjects regulations, standards, policies, and Good Clinical Practice. It is responsible for the oversight of clinical trial implementation, regulatory and billing compliance, SOP development, quality assurance, staff training, education and career development activities, monitoring and optimizing the overall conduct of clinical trials.
