Eric Cannon, Manager, Sponsored Projects in OCR, has primary responsibility for review and negotiation of GWU and the MFA’s clinical research contracting portfolio, in addition to supervision of the OCR BOU team. Eric’s professional experience includes over 10 years in sponsored research and industry contracting, including previous positions managing an industry contracting team at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and a senior-level contracts position at Duke University. He earned a bachelor’s in history and political science from Appalachian State University and a Juris Doctorate from John Marshall Law School in Atlanta. Eric is a North Carolina native and enjoys spending time outdoors, attending sports and cultural events, and being with his family when he is not working.
